Class Schedule and COVID-19 GUIDELINES

We are thrilled to restart our in-studio sessions our new and existing students.

 

As your health, and that of those who live with you, is of utmost importance to us, we have modified the studio experience to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

 

This includes limiting batch sizes and removing interaction with students of different batches. It is imperative that the following protocols are adhered to strictly.

What is COVID-19? 

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

 

The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes. 

Please see the step-by-step process to enrol yourself.​

  1. Call or WhatsApp us on 70-456-456-32 to check for class timings, batch details, offers etc.

  2. Make a decision on whether you wish to join the classes.

  3. Call us, let us know if you are coming alone or with a partner (Partner NOT compulsory).

  4. Make the payment via online transfer to confirm your spot in the class.  

  5. Pre-registration is compulsory.

Please do note:

We are taking 8 Boys and 8 Girls in our Bandra Studio (Area: 1000 sq. ft.) for Salsa & Bachata and 12 students for contemporary.

We are taking 5 Boys and 5 Girls in our Andheri centre (Area: 600 sq. ft.) for Salsa & Bachata on a first come first basis only.

Please follow the guidelines mentioned below:

Before coming to the Studio

​

Please ensure that you do not have any of the following symptoms: 

  1. a high temperature (38.0°C / 100°F or above). 

  2. a new, continuous cough. 

  3. a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste 

 

If you have any of these symptoms or have had any of these symptoms in the last fourteen days, please do not come to the studio. Please follow local guidelines if you have any of the above symptoms. If you have come in to contact with anyone with COVID-19 or the above symptoms, please do not come to the studio and refer to local guidelines.

Please note that other less common symptoms may include; fatigue, body ache shortness of breath, diarrhoea, head ache and/or others. Inform your instructor as soon as possible. If possible, please limit your social interactions in your day-to-day life to decrease your chance of contracting the virus and spreading it to others. 

 

If you do develop any of the above symptoms, please inform the studio immediately. If you or someone you have interacted with recently is awaiting their COVID-19 test result, please do not come to the studio until the result comes back.

Reaching the Studio

​

Please ensure you have the following items with you before reaching the studio: 

  1. A face mask is compulsory.

  2. A clear visor (face-shield) (PREFERRED).

  3. A clean pair of shoes or socks specifically for the studio, outside or soiled footwear won’t be permitted.

  4. Alcohol Gel (>70% alcohol content). 

  5. A Sipper or a bottle of water and a Face Napkin if necessary.

 

IMPORTANT: We advise you to carry a small bag which can fit all of the above. Please do not leave your belongings unattended. Make sure they are back in your bag.

On Arrival at Studio

 

  1. You will be sanitised using sanitising sprays, this includes your clothes, bags and shoes etc. Please bear with the protocols.

  2. Your temperature will be checked to ensure you do not have a fever.

  3. Please make sure you wait your turn to enter the studio. Do not crowd the entry.

  4. At first, please take off your footwear and keep it at the entry carefully. Then change into your footwear or socks that you have carried with you.

  5. You will have to immediately sanitise your hands before you enter the dancing area.

In Classroom Etiquette

 

  1. You will be given a specific spot in the studio to dance in, please make sure you stay in your area. Please limit entering someone else’s space and ensure proper social distancing. The numbers in the class have been restricted keeping this in mind. Therefore request your cooperation.

  2. For Salsa & Bachata, We will be limiting partner switching in class to minimise interaction. However, please sanitise your hands as soon as we switch partners.

  3. For Contemporary, We would be making you dance in groups to make more space available to you.

  4. Please avoid touching any studio equipment. Please make sure you use the bathroom mindfully

Food & Drink 

 

  1. The student may carry a bottle of water with them to class. When necessary, lower your mask, sip and replace your mask. 

  2. No food and food deliveries are allowed at the studio. Please no chewing gum in class.

Leaving the Studio

Unfortunately given the current pandemic, we won’t be able to spend any extra time over and above your classes. Please stay within the dancing area until its your turn to leave. You are requested to follow instructions for exit. We will ensure students leave one by one to avoid interaction and maintain distance.

Please continue to exercise COVID-19 protocol on your journey and wash your hands when you return home.
